Elliot Minor – Electric High

A couple of months back I reviewed “Solaris” which I said at the time was a poor comeback single and showed no real progression from EM popular debut. Certain technical problems with releasing the song meant it was pulled from release which means “Electric High” is now the first song to be taken from new album “Solaris”.
This time around it works allot better as this song instantly grabs your attention in the beginning. It’s a very straight forward song; there most straight forward in fact with no orchestra moments or any mini solo’s in attendance. It’s certainly shows that EM can pull off a decent song without having to resort to methods used in the past to perk up their songs. It does lose its interest towards the end of the song but by the time you feel this it’s over thus not overstaying its welcome. So all in all much better effort which should gather more interest for the upcoming album.
