Senser – Resistance Now (Single)

Hello, 2002!

Nah, not really, but it’s close. Poitical-edged rap rock, with chunky guitar riffs, vinyl scratching overlaying the whole thing, and shouty, repetitive chorus’. However, ‘Resistance Now’ has an interesting male/female vocal combo, which works well, even though the female ‘rapping’ is a bit dodgy. Not enough to ruin the song though, and the Limp Bizkit style guitars help it fire along at a fair clip.

Mostly though, it makes me feel like I’m 16 again, which makes me feel a bit giddy and pleased with things – which probably isn’t the aim of the song. It’s still quite good, though.

Rating: ★★★☆☆
