London Support acts – OUTCRY COLLECTIVE and WARSHIP

Brighton Support acts – THIS CITY and BLACKHOLE

Brighton’s very own The Ghost of A Thousand will be releasing their thrilling album ‘New Hopes, New Demonstrations’ on 1st June and, to coincide, the band will be playing at Bloomsbury Bowling in the evening that very same day. In the mood to celebrate, there will be no charge for entry so that everyone (over 18) can join the party! Giveaways from Epitaph, Jagermeister, Vans, Criminal Damage and Rockstar will help make this a night to remember.

TGOAT will precede this immense event with a special album release show in their hometown of Brighton at Audio on 30th June with the rather excellent This City (www.myspace.com/thiscitymusic) and Blackhole (www.myspace.com/blackhole). This event is free to attend too. Having kicked, screamed and fought their way out of Brighton, England in early 2007 with awe-inspiring debut full-length This Is Where The Fight Begins, The Ghost Of A Thousand have rapidly become of one of the UK’s most valuable and unique musical assets, thanks to their unhinged, uncompromising and utterly invigorating style. Their new album that doesn’t just tear up the rule book, it sets it ablaze and leaves it on your doorstep in a middle of the night drive by.

Support at Bloomsbury Bowling in London comes from UK hardcore crew Outcry Collective (www.myspace.com/outcrycollective). Frontman Steve Sitowski says “We can’t wait to play this show. It’s gonna be a great party… imagine like The Big Lebowski, crossed with Van Wilder, set to the soundtrack of proper British rock n’ roll. Absolutely everyone is welcome, unless you have swine flu.” The band’s debut album ‘a r t i c l e s’ will be out this summer on Visible Noise Records. Opening the show will be New York based duo, Warship (www.myspace.com/mywarship), who will be playing their first London date as part of their debut UK tour. The band, fronted by Fran Mark, ex-front man of From Autumn To Ashes, released their debut album ‘Supply & Demand’ on Vagrant last November.
