Enter Shikari – Juggernauts (Single)

Right, so, first time around I wasn’t a big fan of Enter Shikari. I don’t know – something about their music just didn’t fit right with me. But since the release of that first album, they’ve grown on me. Now a handful of their songs sit proudly on my mp3 player.
Juggernauts looks set to join them, and if it’s any indication, I’m also going to enjoy the upcoming album. It takes everything I liked about Enter Shikari, and ramps it up. The manic electronica, the quirky/interesting lyrics (Note the broken down, spoken word segment around 35 seconds in – not many other bands could pull that off and still make a good song), the riffs – it’s still as mad as ever, and all the better for it.
Everything seems to have improved, too – from the vocals to the way they mesh the various elements together. It all bodes well for the upcoming album, which we’ll have a review of very soon. Keep em’ peeled.
