CS: Hey! to start, can you just tell me your names please?
AW: Andy
JT: Jim
GD: Greg
JF: Jack
AO: Ash
CS: 4 shows left to play on this long tour, hows everythng going?
AW: Really good actually! Its abit epic. Its the longest time we have ever been away from home. I dont want it to end,Im loving it. You get to the stage usually after around 5 shows where you get so used to being away that when you go back its really rubbish.
AO: Weve been back home once or twice for like, a day and its been really weird. Its cool getting to go to different cities though, like this is our first time in Liverpool.
CS:Youve played alot of gigs on this tour, how important is it to play live?
JF: For us as a band its the most important thing. Theres like putting out o record and our music but we have always been about the live show.
AW: Thats why we try to gig as much as possible. Its the best way to go about it rather than just sitting on a computer trying to create this hype about nothing. I think its better to go out and prove yourself as a real band.
CS:Im sure everybody mentions it but Taste Of Chaos..You played that as a result of winning an online poll. Were you suprised to win?
GD: Yeah it was abit weird because we all forgot we were in it, then we got an email, then we got a text saying “oh guys were playin taste of chaos” and I was like oh yeah whatever..joking? and then it was like oh no, we actually are!
JF: It was nice because we told people that we entered but we didnt make a big deal out of it. It was nice that people voted for us and then it was even nicer when it went to the judges and the picked s.
CS:Did you get starstruck at any point during the tour?
AW: Frank from The Gallows was probably the one person..for me seeing him was..because he was built up to be NMEs coolest guy and I mean, I wasnt like starstruck I was just like..fuck…I dunno, is that starstruck? What IS starstruck?
JT: I havent said anything yet! *laughs* Bert from the Used. I walked past him and just said “Hi!” and and that was it…I thought he would be taller.
CS:This tour is supporting the single “You’re The Designers, We’re The Deciders” ..Why that name? Just because I have a hard time saying it yeah?
JF: Yeah we were sat in the house thinking “know that journalist in Liverpool, lets call this song that. That’l be a mouthfull for him”
*laughs*
JF: When Kerrang were writing it they didnt even bother putting the whole name they just put “Designers” because they couldnt fit it all in.
AW: When the song was actually wrtten we just had dreams of it being on TV and we didnt realise that we would get to a point were people would actualy have to say it.
